Four Points by Sheraton Cancun Centro , Cancun

 Amazing stay with great service throughout our stay
We stayed here for a family get together in Cancun and were incredibly impressed at the great service we received from everyone the whole time we were there. From the bellmen to the front desk to the restaurant and bar to the manager - everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. We bragged so much about our experience and our spacious and comfortable room, that another family member left where he was staying and checked in here too. The location is convenient to areas in Cancun and beyond. We will stay here again when we return to Cancun! Highly, highly recommend!

 Great Stay
Excellent hotel and cheap. It is also accessible to the hotel zone in Cancun with almost no distance. The prices of the rooms are very reasonable and the breakfast buffet is very complete. The staff is very nice and helpful.More

 Reservation people not helping at all.
I went there for a couple of nights, but then I realized I didn't need to stay the last one, so I wanted to change it for another ocation or do something about it, so I went to front desk, and they told me to call the agency wich I booked from, so I did, they told me they could not comunicate with them at all, that I had to go and talk to the women in charge, who never showed up. So by the end I was there and I had noone to talk to, noone could take charge of the issue. By the other hand, noone was doing the room cleaning, we had to go and ask for it since they were not doing it.What I did like was that it had a hall that comunicated with the Galena Hospital.The restaurant by the loby was so so.There was also anstrange noise all night. Like something electric or weird.They have a nice pool on the roof and a good gym too.

 nice hotel

 Lives up to expectations, food good
This hotel hit all the right notes for our one night stay before heading home on an early flight. The bed was comfortable and wifi strong in the room. Rooftop pool was nice, with a bar and option to order food. The main restaurant had a very good menu of national favorites. It's a 15 minute walk to a nearby shopping mall, otherwise not much else walkable nearby. Easy 15 minute drive to the airport, with a taxi stand outside.

 Great after long flight
Stayed here en-route to Akumal after a long day of travel, the hotel is secure,clean, 10 mins from the airport and very comfortable. The staff were all very polite and accommodating, breakfast was great for under £10 ($12). We used the roof top pool which again was fit for purpose, it had a great view in the distance of the vine(hotel zone). I personally wouldn't stay here for days on end for vacation but it was excellent for a one night stay over, would be great for business travellers too. Will return for sure next time we are going back to Akumal.

 Nice
The hotel was clean and very quiet. The shower great but the seat of our toilet was broken. We didn't bother to tell anyone about it though. The breakfast buffet nice and the hotel staff friendly. The gym and pool ok. But the there is absolutely nothing close by the hotel, so you have to take a taxi for whatever you want to do.

 Nice Saty at Four Points
We stayed in a junior suite (King bed with sitting area). The room was quite spacious and the furniture was good. The bathroom was also very spacious. However, bathroom sink had a drainage problem and there was some smell related to water issues. The front desk was aware of the problem but said that they have notified the management. The front desk people were extremely helpful and always tried their best to help. The restaurant staff were incredibly nice. We had food restrictions and the waiters went out of their way to assist. Other than the water issue, it was a great place to stay.

 Well run hotel with very friendly staff
I was very impressed by the friendly, helpful staff who really made me feel welcome. This was a good location for exploring sites within the city of Cancun itself. Rooms were nice and modern, room service was quite good, and the breakfast buffet was a good value, and included cooked to order omelets, etc.

 At the beginning
Everything seems ok at first, even bed linen was good, shades were made to block sun light I thought everything should be ok to sleep well. No, in my case I can hear a loud neighbor I have to call an ask for help. Not enough with that, they install the smoke detector directly in my face, 3 green lights blinking all night and a white light in the middle, what for? I didn't get it. Great shades, good linen to do that? Bathrooms seems old and water was plugged in the sink. It is a bad deal.

 First trip to Cancun
This was my first time to Mexico and I felt a little overwhelmed not speaking spanish. I chose Four Points by Sheraton because I felt better knowing that they had Spanish/English speaking staff that could help me navigate through my last minute getaway. Upon arrival, Check in was easy and smooth. I paid using a combination of SPG points and cash. They only accept Pesos or credit card, no US dollars. Check in was quick and friendly. The room was average, but the bathroom was big. Right by the front door theres a place on the wall to put your room key in and thats the only way you can activate your air conditioning and some of the room lights. (Remember to get an extra key, one for your ac/lights, and one for when you or someone else leaves the room) The bed was comfy, and theres ample drawers. The room safe gave me peace of mind knowing my passport and other valuables wouldnt be lost. There was no signage stating if there would be a cost for the bottled water and coffee in the room, so I didnt drink any of it, not knowing if I would be hit with a late charge after checkout. Theres room service, a pool and other amenities that I didnt take advantage of but I did eat in the hotel restaurant which was open till 11pm which was very convenient for me. The food was good, but the real treat was the waiter. He was an older Mexan man who made sure that I got something that wasnt on the menu but He knew they could make. (Mexican food) Theres also an site tour desk which booked me a tour to Chichen Itza, which was the highlight of my stay. The only down side of the hotel is that they dont have a store where you can purchase snacks or forgotten toiletry items. The front desk will direct you to the Hospital pharmacy, which is connected to the side of the hotel, but has limited hours. For my first day, I walked about a mile to the mall even though taxi's are readily available, but they have typical American stores there. The best place to get souvenirs is while on the tour, where you can get handmade items at a very decent price. Overall, I have no problem staying at this hotel again, where its clean, safe, and met my needs. Two thumbs up!

 Nice Hotel Which has Nice Breakfast for a small fee
This hotel is in downtown Cancun, near many car dealerships. It has a beautiful rooftop swimming pool. very friendly staffs and nice breakfast offered for a small free. the bathroom sink is not designed properly and the water is not easy to drain. My hotel door couldn't be locked from inside because it was broken. luckily, you need a key to operate the elevator.

 Awesome
This hotel was awesome brand new and up-to-date and everything with the Rooftop Bar swimming pool Fitness Center nice restaurants downstairs and the rooms were spectacular even better added security the elevators will not move without your room key the staff was super nice and accommodating would definitely come again

 Spotlessly Clean!
As cabin crew for a major British airline this was my first visit to this hotel. On checking in 2 rooms weren't ready, so we waited for an hour and a half for them to be serviced. Not ideal after such a long flight. Daniel the duty manager brought coffee and soft drinks while we waited. Once in the room I was very impressed by its size and cleanliness. Had a great nights sleep after a very long day. The rooftop pool was lovely. Previously we stayed on the strip and had immediate access to the beach, however the pool was beautiful so I didn't miss the beach. Food by pool was excellent and reasonably priced. All in all I look forward to visiting again. All staff very very friendly with nothing too much trouble.

 Not Great, Just OK
Okay, I travel a lot so this Sheraton was a bit disappointing. The breakfast buffet was terrible. The bathroom was nasty, mold on the tile. The staff was very nice, however they do not answer the phone EVER! Called three times for wake up call and they never answered.

 Great choice
This is a great option when visiting Cancun. It's not by the Ocean but if you need to be close to city center you have it all. Nice pool on top with a beautiful view to the lagoon. Good fitness center.More

 Very good but with details to be improved
Overall the experience was good, rooms are fresh and comfortable. Painfully when you leave the room the energy goes of and the air conditioning stops working so when you return after the whole day the room is hot and humid. Also the tv channel selection is way to limited. The dining experience in the bistro was average, decoration is very cold and without atmosphere, food is ok. The sports bar on the other side is way better, great atmosphere, food and service. Also the hotel lacks a small market where one can buy last minute needed things since the property is not at walking distance from a mall.

 Good quality hotel not far from airport and downtown
My friend and I stayed one night here prior to our flights home the next day. We booked seperate king size bed rooms which were amazing. Massive beds which were super comfortable. Modern tv with many chanels. Big sized bathroom and shower. We had breakfast which included things like cereals, toast and spreads, simple pastries, eggs, juices and teas and coffee and some additional mexican dishes like quesadilas etc. The wifi was excellent and the staff were super friendly and helpful. There is also a day spa which I really wanted to make use of but due to an early flight ran out of time.

 Best sleep I've had in ages
Booked a room at Four Points using my Aeroplan points for our first night in Cancun. It is not in the hotel zone or central Cancun. But beautiful walk to the lagoon and a nice rooftop pool and bar. We had a king size bed that was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept it. Was very nice after a long day of travelling.

 Perfect Stopover Hotel in Cancun
We stayed here the first night after we landed in Cancun as we wanted to check out the city/nightlife for one day/night before heading to Playa del Carmen for our wedding in February 2016. The hotel was great! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the restaurant/bar made delicious drinks and gave us some pointers on where to grab lunch and they also helped us grab a cab into Cancun. They even helped us figure out how to shuttle back to the airport to grab our already booked shuttle to PDC. I would even stay there for a few days if we were returning to Cancun even though it isn't close to the beach.

 Fantastic Hotel
No, it's not in the Hotel Zone and the view isn't much. But it's a very new, modern, clean hotel by any standard. My wife was sick for a few days and the staff were very kind to bring lots of water. The room service is the same price as the restaurant (I guess that's common for Mexico), and it was fast. The restaurant food was good. The fitness room, pool and sauna were great. Overall a really great stay.

 Nice central hotel
Nice hotel for a stop over before heading to the airport in the morning. Staff was helpful. Bed was comfortable. Please note this is in the downtown zone and away from the beach. The restaurant is so so I would skip.More

 High quality hotel for stopover in Cancun
We stayed in this hotel for one night, since we came directly from a long flight from the airport. Parking was really good and also the check in service great. We received a slight upgrade of our room which we liked very much. We also loved the gym in the morning. We did not use the pool.All in all, when we would come back to Cancun, definitely a place to stay and recommend. Please note, not in the Hotel Zone and no direct beach access.

 Great hotel
Spending night in Cancun on way to Merida so we stayed at 4 Points Sheraton only one night. Staff was nice and helpful. Recommended a bar to get a few drinks. Was close location and inexpensive but great food and drinks. Definitely would be back.More

 First night stopover
Good functional business hotel which was fine for an overnight stay at the beginning of our holiday. Charming front desk staff. Good room with comfortable bed. Dinner was a mixed pleasure. Excellent ceviche. Poor fish. Breakfast was good.More

 Great Hotel and Staff
We could not have been more pleased with the quality of the hotel. Our room was spotless, the bathroom/shower very nice size, the internet connection was great and the staff was very helpful. The restaurant had excellent food and the Pico was to die for. If I was every to go back to Cancun, I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Four Points.

 Nice business hotel
Nice business hotel, only 10 minutes to airport, (no shops nearby though if you need something and no hotel shop at present) but it's clean, comfortable and staff are friendly and helpful. Good gym and roof top pool. Spa available too.More

 Good business hotel in Centro, nice pool on roof
I've stayed here twice in the last few months & while it isn't on the beach, it a good hotel for business meetings. It has good business meeting rooms (but no windows) & Internet, nice rooms, an OK restaurant & helpful staff. It also has a good gym & a nice rooftop pool. The windows in the rooms don't open.

 Clean and modern, a very pleasant stay
My husband and I had a very pleasant and comfortable stay at this new Four Points Sheraton property. We didn't care to be walking distance from the beach so the city-center location was not an issue for us.We really enjoyed the:- modern decor, spacious lobby, everything feels clean, light & airy- strong AC (with the exception of elevator & hallways, seems like they were turned to just fan at night to conserve energy)- huge bathroom with glass shower & tub (we were in a suite)- comfortable bed- efficient & thorough housekeeping staff to ensure that we were stocked with plenty of water & towel- meals at The Eatery were good, huge portions with friendly service (my favorites were the flatbread, burger, spinach salad, chicken sandwich and chocolate cake)- very comfortable work spaces in the lobby (couches and tables & chairs)- wifi was generally good, with sporadic issues with connections & speedWhat made our stay special was the super friendly and helpful staff. I want to especially recognize the outstanding services by:The Eatery restaurant - Pastor, Armando, Romeo => delicious meals served with a smilePool bar - Jesus => super yummy drinks & friendly serviceFront desk - Hiram and Eric => super responsive with our needs and they were so helpful in assisting us communicate with a local contact to arrange transportation. Everything was done efficiently and with a smile.Thank you and we look forward to our next visit!

 Bed & Shower! =)
I really liked this hotel, the most important for me besides the service, is the bed and bathroom, and they were, the bed so comfortable and big enough for me, and the bathroom, they have a big tub and an spacious shower too, I had a nice view to the street but u can get something higher and better, this is a very good hotel for a short stay/business trip. Do not forget to enjoy the pool on the top

 Nice Hotel On The Mainland
The Four Points hotel is on the mainland so it gets you away from the traffic and business of the beach crowds. It was a great first night stop. Close to Walmart and some main land markets. We arrived around 2 and got settled in, then found the Walmart to get biodegradable sunscreen and such. We went to some local shops and a local park. It gave us a nice jump on the traffic from buses on our next day's drive to Chichen Itza. Our room was very nice. The staff very accommodating. Our breakfast buffet was delicious and the beef nachos at the bar/lounge in the evening were wonderful. We sadly did not have time to enjoy the fabulous roof top pool or bar. It looked like we could have spent a few hours there and loved it. If you are driving, it is easy the first time to miss the turn for the parking. It looks like a very small alley.We ate dinner at a local place called Los Palapas and had a wide variety of local dishes. We would not have come all the way out from the beach area to do there so it was a nice find a short drive from the hotel.

 Disappointed
This hotel sits connected to a hospital. Which is convenient when visiting interned. The service and staff were great and helpful and friendly. Rooms however were not cleaned one day, my electronic key kept loosing its programming and I had to make several trips down again to reception to have it reprogrammed. Strange because it functioned for the elevator. Quite inconvenient to be returning to lobby to reprogram. The bathroom was not clean and the sink was slow. Door frames showed signs of water rot. Such a shame, this property with a little effort could be a great place to stay, if off strip is what you seek or for one or two nights on the way in and out of cancun. Probably about 10 min from airport.

 Wonderful vacation i love Cancun Mexico!
The location was great about a ten min cab ride to the beach. Don't pay over 12 american dollars. The hotel staff was wonderful. Diana the waiter was great she is the best! The breakfast is good and the room was nice and clean. I love the pool and the food was excellent. Overall great hotel. The front desk staff was also very helpful. I love Cancun! :-)

 Has Everything But The Sea
Stayed at Four Points by Sheraton Cancun Centro for three nights; this was my second time there, enjoyed it the first time and enjoyed it this time. We had a suite that was lovely. The bathroom was gigantic; I always bring my own shampoo, condition, body wash, thinking mine has to be better than a hotel brand. Forgot mine in the rush of packing; trust me the hotels’ Activ shampoo, condition, body wash out shines mine by a mile. Just saying, one less thing to pack.The roof top swim pool and bar was an added plus. Nice work-out room near the pool area. We had drinks at sunset at the pool; the work-out room did not enter our picture.Breakfast was outstanding as were all the meals. Service grand.Everyone reviews the front desk staff saying how friendly and helpful they are, this is true. Nice people. Four Points connects to the hospital, should you need anything from the pharmacy that is the place to go. My dentist’s office is nearby so Four Points is a great location for me. No hardship staying at this delightful hotel, enjoyed every minute of my stay.

 Very nice hotel!
Only stayed there for one night but I was able to try the bar and restaurant. It was not too crowded but still the service was very good, same as the food. The personel were friendly and very attentive to what the guests needed. Same thing with the front desk personnel.I am SPG platinum and was lucky to have received a suite upgrade so my stay was even more enjoyable. Got a hand-written note from the manager welcoming me in the hotel, which was a nice touch. Other hotels also do this but the note is a print-out and only signed by the manager.There are not too many things around the hotel as it is not located in the touristy area, but it is a safe area where it is and nice as well.Anyways, I have no complains about this hotel. Could easily stay there on my next visit in Cancun.
