 Refreshing time
I arrived at GPR for September 25-30 for a get away from work and to relax. Checking was easy however, I had to wait for my room to be ready. I went and have lunch and when I did get to my room it was very clean.The hotel was overall kept clean and staff could be seen all the time doing this even shoveling away the rain which landed on the patio.The pool area was kept clean and also the pool. Chairs were available if you came out early in the mornings. The beach area was also kept clean and life guards were always on duty.Dinners were good however, it would be good if they could keep the food at the buffet hot. I did a early dinner and food still wasn’t hot but edible.The activities staff were superb and were always excited to have vactioners participate in volleyball,water polo and football. I must commend them.Overall, this is a great valued resort to stay at and will meet all your needs. I would go back.

 The atmosphere is nice. everyone in this hotel is smiling and glad to serve you.
I love the food very much. Italian restaurant El mirador is amazing as I expected, seafood at La Concha is beyond my expectation. The night Lobby bar is very energetic with rock night. Everything is great.Oh and the gelato at any time is superb. There is one thing I think the hotel can improve to excellence, that is, daily activities is not very clear for customer to find. I have to stand at the lobby to see rotated board with lots of messages for 10 minutes. Maybe it's a good idea to print it out at the check in counter for customer to take. But except for that, everything is just perfect.

 Absolutely brilliant
So after the trials and tribulations of the hotel next door-Building site we were moved here. I cannot speak highly enough of this well run relaxing hotel. We are in the Premium Tower... Ocean front balcony is breathtaking. The staff are ALL friendly and informative and do everything possible to add to your holiday experience. Would highly recommend this hotel and will 100% be coming back again sometime in the near future.

 Anniversary
We have just returned from an amazing holiday in beautiful Cancun. Having stayed at the grand Park Royal we had the most time possible. We met some brilliantly talented and hard working entertainment staff to mention a few.... Joachim,Nay and Edwin. They were so dedicated to their task in delivering great fun and games which we enjoyed immensely. The WHOLE team was superb. We ate in all the restaurants and the standard of food and variety was truly amazing. Again a mention to some of the waiting staff who were so good to us. Mayra,Eli,Griaco, and max at the Cocay also Ruben in El Oriental. The attention to detail in the fresco bars too was of the highest standard. We did encounter a minor problem which was dealt with efficiently and promptly by Ana. Again she too treating us with the utmost respect. We would love to go back again as all the staff went to great lengths to assure us that no request would be seen as a problem.

Staff and Service – Everyone in this hotel works to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We had 100% exceptional service 100% of the time. Front desk staff even helped us check in to our flight on the way back and always remembered our names. Room service and Housekeeping were prompt and polite and fulfilled all our requests right away. Rooms – Beautiful, clean, modern and cozy. Beds were very comfortable. Lots of clean towels, and luxurious bathrobes. I felt in love with the room as soon as I opened the door. Amazing view of the ocean. Great little nooks and set up. You can have delicious food and great drinks all day!!!!Pool – A gem. We loved it! Beach – Nice beach lounge chairs and towels.Restaurants - AMAZING. We had so many choices.…all delicious. We had dinner one night at the Prime Rib House...... This place will be renowned in Cancun for their steaks!!! I´m pretty sure!!! (recently opened)

 I World never recomend it
Beds are horrible and food is also pretty bad, never coming back.The rooms they offer are too small, they gave me an upgrade because my room was a little messy and it wasn't a big change in the room, I checked the price of the New room and it was 60 USD per night more expensive and not worth it.You May ask for room service once a Day, if you ask for a second room service they change 20 USD, that seems pretty stupid since it is an all inclusive hotel.

 OK, for quick trip
Just got back from a quick 4 day trip, the hotel and staff was nice, but it did not stand out. The food was just so-so for a quick trip but would be terrible if the trip was longer. The pools close a 8, I know this is some what the norm in Cancun, but it is ridiculous.The room was comfortable , and clean, requested a king size bed but was given two doubles. AC was not working in room, nor was the toilet.

 Royal Holiday
As Royal Holiday members we were very disappointed to learn that we no longer base hotel since they the Grand Oasis. Now our points have little to no value. We had a 4 night reservation and could not get an extra night even though there were vacancies posted online. Now we have 3000 points which will go to waist this year.This location has dropped considerably in food quality over the last 7 months. My first day there I got diarrhea which lasted 3 days. This is my 10th trip to Cancun and the first time I ever got diarrhea. This location used to have good food but now it has fallen to below average.As a member I would be happy to sell my Royal Holiday membership to anyone for 1/2 of what I paid for it. We would not recommend this location or Royal Holiday membership to anyone, we will certainly never return to this location.

 Dissapointing family holiday
We traveled in a family group and the hotel has various rules which made us believe that groups are not welcome. One of the very frustrating parts of the trip was the impossibility to have meals together as the hotel has this "rule" that people in a group cannot sit next to each other during dinners. We did not ask the hotel to make a large table for us, but simply ask to let us use tables close to each other which was not allowed in any of the restaurants at the hotel. Every day we had to argue and explain that we did not travel this far to be sitting apart from our family, but even complaning at the managers did not make any difference.And note that people lower than 1,30m are not allowed in the restaurant, which I understand as no kids and adults not tall enough allowed to have dinners in these restaurants.It was also very frustating that we book a room at a Vila (one of the best rooms in the hotel) but it did not come with a double bed. When we asked to change rooms to have a double bed, for our surprised, the hotel said we would need to pay extra. We book as a married couple and we did not understand the reasoning behind not having double bed or even to have to pay extra to get one. Very dissapointing. Would not recommend if traveling with family.

 Great all inclusive hotel amazing staff
I never write reviews as I'm too busy travelling and having fun but I felt compelled to leave one for this hotel.The staff were exceptionally friendly, the service was excellent and there was plenty of variety of food and drinks in the various restaurants, bars and snack bars. The cafe, ice cream stalls and taco bar are not to be missed and the buffet restaurant mixed it up nicely each day to keep my stomach happy. It's not Michelin star and I am fussy about food but this is an all inclusive resort and not the Savoy. No complaints.Travelling alone the entertainment team were the real highlight for me, Nayeli, Sandra and Edwin in particular are really friendly, great at their jobs, they put a smile on your face and get you involved if you fancy it. The water polo, beach football, evening entertainment and the Michael Jackson tribute were all great fun and very well organised.Hector (Taco Bar) and Jose (Buffet Restaurant) were really friendly guys and kept me well fed and watered!!The hotel itself is a definite 4+ star, in a great location for nightlife and tours and the white beach and turquoise sea are paradise.If you get involved with releasing baby turtles at night (seasonal) then treat them with respect and listen to the instructions and guidance from the staff. No flashlights or selfies, just enjoy liberating them into the sea.I originally booked for 7 nights but I ended up extending my stay twice (I think I was there for 10 nights in the end) and was genuinely sad to leave.  Love this resort!
My family and I stayed at the Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe in the beginning of August for seven fun filled days! This was our 3rd time staying at this resort and each time has been so great. The resort is beautiful from the rooms to the views of the pool and the beach. The food at Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe is very delicious. The buffet is different every day, so you will not get sick of the same food. The three other restaurants were very good too because there was a variety of different choices such as Asian, Italian, and seafood. All of the staff at this resort is very friendly and willing to accommodate the guests. My favorite part about this resort is the activities that the directors organize throughout the day around the pool and the beach. My family and I were never bored while we were here because we were participating in various activities such as beach volleyball, water aerobics, water polo, and the "Hunger Games" competition. These activities were very organized due the hardworking activity directors (Leonardo, Meme, Dario, Alex, Edwin, and Joaquin). This resort is a 10/10 and I would highly recommend this resort for a vacation.

 Just ok...
The service was good. Tasteless food at all the restaurants. They need to revamp their entire food menu. The pool bar needs a good cleaning b/c if you really look at the water it has green algae/scum and nasty hairs floating in the pool water.. Concierge when we got there started to sell us right away and when we left we had to pay just to ask the bellman to weigh our bag.  Great all inclusive, good location, pushy concierge
We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days. We stayed in the Royal Tower- it was amazing, best view and location in the entire hotel. The room was beautiful and right on the beach. Adults only building too! The only complaint about the room is that it was non smoking, but I could smell cigarettes from other rooms through the balcony. The food at the Oriental was the best food I have had in months anywhere! The snacks and beverages available around the resort were good. Everything basically closes at 11pm so not much late night snack availability. The drinks were what you expect for an all inclusive resort- ask for upgraded alcohol for sure but make sure you tip! The reason I stated that concierge tries too hard is because right after check in, we were greeted with a concierge that spoke with us for almost an hour!!! We avoided talking to people who try to sell you things like timeshares at the airport.. only to have our concierge sit us down and tell us all about it :(. We were hungry and just wanted to go to our room! They also force you to use the bell service, which is completely unnecessary- they certainly only do that for tip. But overall it was a good experience, all inclusive is the way to go for sure! Do not expect much nightly entertainment. We attended a magic show and game night, it was great, but it is marketed poorly and only had 10-15 guests in attendance.

 Must have vacation
We made a last minute decision to this destination and it was a wonderful time. The resort understands customer service from all aspects and throughout all areas. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Eric who was always available to help us with any needs. We upgraded our room to the Royal Tower and had the honor of meeting Jaime and Jovanna who made our visit feel like Royalty. Every little detail was taken care of and Jaime definitely caters to the needs of his guests! The support staff, although they are behind the scenes, they do a great job and it reflects in the service you receive from those that are serving face to face. We enjoyed our meals in all of their restaurants and especially at El Mirador! We had the pleasure of meeting many employees all of them were extremely friendly and were grateful to serve! Being in the customer service industry, the staff at home his resort makes vacations enjoyable for families with their professionalism and genuine concern for their guest.

 Wonderful stay on 9/7-9/14
I want to start by saying I read every negative review about this hotel before we traveled there for our honeymoon. We didnt experience any of the negative aspects that the other negative reviews stated. Our stay was absolutely amazing. The only odd thing was that, when we checked in, yes they tried to upsell us with the "better room" once we said no that was the end of it. Then a member of the staff repeatedly try to get us to sign up for the "VIP Breakfast" which from other reviews I learned was a way to sell timeshares (this was later confirmed through me talking to a couple who actually did the VIP breakfast and they said it was a waste of 2 hours and all they did was try to sell you timeshares). However, after saying no about a dozen times she finally stopped following us around and asking. That was the extent of the badness at the resort. The wait staff for breakfast were so friendly, my fiance stated several times that she wishes we got that good of service back in the states. The rooms were great and clean, we were only basically in the room to shower and sleep. Housekeepers were friendly and everyone spoke just enough English to make it easy for us. The entertainment staff, just like everyone mentions, is great. They keep it entertaining at the main pool. If you dont want the larger crowd and loudness of the main pool there is another smaller pool you can hang out at. For a honeymooning couple, the no small children rule for the reservations only restaurants was a nice touch, however, i can see how some people would get upset about it. They do have a dress code, mostly for men, so bring a pair of pants, closed toe shoes, and a actual T-shirt(aka no flip flops/Tanktops). We booked several excursions/activities through the resort while we were there and had a great time. We didn't have any issues with bad alcohol and didn't have any run ins with those pesky gangbangers/cartels you hear about on the news. The beach was beautiful and we got the chance to watch a batch a baby sea-turtles be released into the ocean. I CANNOT say enough great things about this resort, everyone was so friendly and made us feel welcome.

We had a room right on the beach. All of the staff were super attentive and helpful. Did not have a bad meal the entire time there. The restaurants which are not buffet are more than willing to give you another delicious entree if you are not full. The entire experience was relaxing and our butler Indira made the experience that much better.

 Loved our stay!
My husband and I have traveled quite a bit and our stay at Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe was our favorite and by far the best! When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted by Jorge the best bellboy we've ever met! He had the best personality and so personable we felt welcomed right away! Every staff member we met were so professional and pleasant it was great!! The entertainment staff was the best we had so much fun with them everyday playing beach volleyball/water volleyball, aerobics, hunger games... you name it we participated! We hardly left the resort because we had more fun hanging out with Joaquin, Edwin, Esmeralda, Leo, Dario, Nayeli, Isabel, Grissel, and Alex!! The entertainment staff truly enjoy their jobs and it shows! We will definitely be visiting again next year and maybe bring the kids LOL!

Great hotel, this is my forth time traveling to cancun and i always come back to same resort, because ocean front views, great service and food, excellent entertainment staff, it was a pleasure seeing Nayeli again (from the entertainment staff); and the concierge staff specially Jandi Galeana that helped me all the time contacting the airline after my flight was canceled three times due to Huracan irma, she as very helpful, compasionate, and undarstanding after i had to spend and extra week at the hotel which was an exceptional exceptional stay. I recommend everyone to visit this great hotel.

 Beautiful! Amazing! Best place to stay!
We had an amazing time, the staff were always pleasant and very helpful. We stayed in the Royal Tower, the view was beautiful, the room was very nice with everything you could need. Our butler, Jaime, never left us wanting or needing anything...he took care of everything...we wish we could bring him home he was so wonderful. All of the waitress staff was also just as amazing and very friendly, we loved Jovina (sp?), she went above and beyond. The entertainment staff made the experience by the pool a lot of fun, we even participated in some of the events and really enjoyed ourselves. I can't say enough about all the hard working cleaning crew they had everywhere, they worked very hard to keep the place clean and organized always. The restaurants were all top notch and the staff were extremely friendly, the buffet is not your typical buffet...it was very good and always clean. We loved the white sand beach, it was clean and well maintained. The water was very clear, with crystal blues and gorgeous. We just can't say enough positive things about this place. We will definitely return to Cancun and when we do we will stay at this place again.

Just had a visit to Cancun. Stayed at grand park Royal cribe. The hotel room are average can find better rooms for the price. Restaurants were good. Lot of choices for food. Staff was great. Entertainment staff was great put a lot of effort in. Housekeeper were great. Restaurant service could be better. Like making sure refilling drinks without guest have to raise their hand and look for service. Just because time share people that this resort invite. We won't be staying their again. ( DO NOT DO TIME SHARE, People wearing pink shirts). They promise you all this discounts on catamaran trip and jungle tour and other and gifts in return of 90 min of time. But in reality they just up the price and then discount it. Just go outside the resort you will find tons of travel info places. Sometime cheaper than what this people offer. Very offensive people. If you say no to their offer than they use very offensive and racist language. I am from India and just because I was not interested in the package the financial manager says "we don't offer this package to Indian people we would not even envite them". Resort won't even make them apologize.

I have to write a review on the entertainment team as this is the only reason why I would return to this hotel! The shows were outstanding! The effort they put into every show is above and beyond any expectations! Even through the day they had us all involved taking part and laughing and smiling! Grand Park was the best time of my life! Favorite part of the trip was all inclusive, the beach, relaxing, and the entertainment staff! Edwin, Nay, Dario, Leo, Isabel, and the rest are all amazing! They let us experience something my sister and I would never forget. They have nightly shows, and the Friday night show was the Michael Jackson show. We saw it Thursday on the schedule and wanted to dance in it. Come to find out they said yes! We went to their rehearsal and learned "beat it" in about 30 minutes! We performed that with them! How awesome?!?! Everyone is so sweet and the atmosphere is great. Going back March 2018. Cancun, I'll see you soon.

 Front Desk scammers
Hotel was very nice. Waiters were awesome. On our very last day before leaving we asked the front desk if we could pick our plane seats in advance from them or the airport. They informed us we can pick the seats from them. We started to pick the seats when we were informed that just because we bought our plane tickets in advance it does not guarantee us a seat on the plane. In a panic we asked how we can guarantee a seat due to we had to work the next day. The hotel staff informed us that if we pay more money to them they could reserve the seats for us. We paid the extra money but found out later when we arrived in Canada we got scammed. How can a hotel do that to their guests? We will never go to Cancun again.

 Everything was perfect!
Check-In was really easy, only thing I did not like was the hour after check-in wasted on them trying to sell us a timeshare. Aside from that, the room was super clean and perfect, ground level with access to the beach from our room! The beach was beautiful, the two different pools are sooo relaxing, fun, and inviting, and the service is superb. The pool/show/entertainment staff were the best! Definitely WILL stay here again. I must come back and win Esme's heart over ... and maybe Edwin's haha great group of people.

There were supposed to be banner on their door a bottle of champayne and cake, also rose petals on the King Size bed. Instead there was no bottle of champayne no cake and No King Size bed, How disappointing was that, and no one took responsibility to immediately correct this situation. I spoke to four supervisors, Diane Kelly, Sandra, Jorge, Hector.and they all had different stories, which told me they were lying,to say the least this was a very unpleasant experience, considering we have been members for 15 years, we were expecting a much better treatment on this particular occasion.

 Three years in a row of A-plus service!
I was visiting Cancun with my mother and sister, and our expectations are, admittedly, pretty high. This is the third year in a row that we have returned to this resort. There is always a slight worry when visiting a place over and over that the quality will diminish or the experience will be lacking in some way, but that could not be farther from the case here at the Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe! Let me break it down for you!I arrived in Cancun during a downpour, about 3 hours after my family. I had a slight issue trying to find the shuttle driver, and when I found him, he asked me to wait because we needed to get other people. No biggie. I waited for awhile and then he came back to me and said we could go. I was the only one on the shuttle! I was pretty happy that they didn't make me wait any longer, and took me to the hotel even if I was the only one. Upon arrival, a man near the door intercepted me and took me down the hall to the members check-in. No waiting at all! I also want to say the hotel and grounds are immaculate. People are always cleaning and they all seem to take great pride in their work.I got to the room, the Presidential suite, and could not have been more impressed. The room had 2 stories and a private deck with a pool. Pretty cool! My second stop was the buffet for some food, and Braulio immediately recognized me from years prior. He went out of his way to get my settled and get me a drink to welcome me properly. I felt like a VIP!Almost every morning we had breakfast at El Mirador. Last year we had a wonderful waiter every day named Ruben. We discovered he had moved to El Oriental and were sad he wouldn't be our breakfast server. Luckily, we met Hugo who became our new daily waiter! He was kind and attentive, and remembered our order every single day after the first one. The hostesses (I did not get their names but they were wonderful as well!) would recognize us daily and let us know we would be with Hugo. I should add the food is AMAZING there! The ham and cheese pita and the waffles are my favorites. The green juice is made fresh every morning and is SO tasty!Lunches were spent mostly at La Concha. The lunch menu there is seafood, which is great because we all love it! The fried fish was delicious, as well as the fish fillet. I had it both grilled with garlic and breaded, and both are super yummy. The service here was also top notch! Noel always remembers us and goes out of his way for us every single time we see him. He also introduced us to Verulo and Julio, who also went above and beyond with their service and smiles.We did the buffet for lunch a couple of times, and the food was great! Make your own pasta dish was a favorite. Again, Braulio made sure we were well taken care of.Evening dinners were split between El Oriental and El Mirador. At El Oriental, German took amazing care of us each night! I cannot forget to mention Yajaira and Candido as well! Everyone was so friendly and as usual, the food was prime. We were also spoiled with amazing service by Antonio at El Mirador. He has been our server there for all 3 years and ALWAYS remembers us and even where we sat! He brought us special dessert plates our first and last nights there. He is top notch! Misael and Jorge keep things running smoothly, and we also enjoyed meeting Cristian. I don't Jorge ever leaves, as he would check in on us during dinner and then again first thing at breakfast! Days were spent by the pool or in the lobby bar during one rainy day! Jovanna at the pool and Humberto inside always had delicious drinks for us to try. Pro tip: tell the bartenders or waitresses you want to try a surprise and they go to town with delicious, creative concoctions! I would be remiss not to mention the gentleman behind the snack bar each day, even though I cannot remember his name. Always had a smile and was working SO hard whenever I saw him!Finally, let me talk about the entertainment staff. These people are TIRELESS. They arrive early, filled with energy and happiness, and they do not slow down until after the evening entertainment has concluded, sometimes at 11pm! They have an ability to coerce you into participating in activities you otherwise would not, such as water polo and the Hunger Games,and then making sure you have the best time. It's hard to say no when their own excitement is so infectious and I never once regretted participating. They work SO HARD all day to make sure everyone is having a great day by the pool. And the night shows...wow! The Michael Jackson show could be on the Las Vegas strip, and their new comedy show had us all crying with laughter. They also led a group in releasing sea turtles one night. This is a moment I will never forget! These people bring so much joy to all the guests and make the trip even more fun! HUGE kudos to them: Leo, Nayeli, Joaquin, Edwin, Meme, Gris, Isabel, and Alex! Overall, I cannot say enough good things about this resort. It's not as large as some of the others that we pass, but this is one of the things I love about it! The smaller size allows you to get to know the staff, and before you know it, they have become like family. I will be back for a 4th time next year!

Nay, Leo, Edwin, Dario, Luis all the way down the line were fantastic. The Shows and the game nights they put on were amazing,. I would only go back to that resort when we travel again just for the Entertainment staff. Absolutely the best Entertainment Staff I have ever encountered on a Vacation at a resort.

We are Royal Holiday members, and this was our first stay at the Grand Park Royal in Cancun. The place is just awesome with great ocean views from every room. The pool-side bar attached to the "adult" pool was a lot of fun (Thanks Wilberth!) and the food at the resort was quite good. A little tip...if you're not into breakfast buffets, check out the a la carte breakfast at the Italian restaurant. It was excellent!

 Not expecting much but felt like I won the lottery!
We were supposed to be at a national regatta in Charleston that was cancelled last minute due to Hurricaine Irma. We had a clear schedule, house sitters and packed bags and nowhere to go. Found an unbelievable price of $600 per person for non-stop airfare from/to Chicago and four nights at this all-inclusive. We went in with pretty low expectations, but feel like we found the hidden jewel in Cancun. Upon arrival were offered an upgrade to the royal tower for $60 per room per night. We didn't feel like spending anymore than we had to so found out our choices and walked around to see the three available buildings and looked at rooms in each. We had breakfast before it closed down at 11 and then went back to front desk. In that time were told price had dropped to $40 extra per night for the Royal Tower (best) rooms. We did the upgrade mostly because they were the only rooms we could get access to immediately. It ended up being a nice choice as the beds were super comfortable, rooms were huge and very nice with interesting layout and closest to beach and in between both pools. Ended up eating at all the restaurants except asian as we forgot to get reservations one night. Overall food was good. Not a gourmet's dream, but certainly always something enjoyable and a few things very good. We used the onsite car rental (about $50/day) to go to xel-ha and xplore (very cool at night) one day. The expdia desk service guy was amazingly helpful with tickets and tons of advice on cool off-the-beaten-track stuff to see. Some highlights were seeing baby sea turtles hatched and waiting under baskets to be escorted to the ocean after hatching, CocoBongo show, the Micheal Jackson show at the resort (amazing dancing...the guy could be Michael Jackson's twin). Walks down the beach in either direction confirmed our suspicion that we had the best beach and setting on the strip. All the other resorts seemed like that had too many rooms for too small a footprint creating crowding. Granted it was not a busy time but never had any problems getting tables for meals or shaded chairs at the beach. I'm a clean-freak and the staff here goes WAY above and beyond. Coming home at 3am from Coco Bongo to find them mopping the driveway! Always seeing maids cleaning crazy places like the slider tracks and staircase metal sides. Always crazy games and fun at main pool and quiet at the adult pool. They are lax about the no kids in adult pool. I love well behaved kids so didn't bother me but swim diapers might turn others off. Secrets #1 great ice cream at the adults only pool. It says it's only for timeshare owners but they don't ask #2 you can request a lobster and wine private dinner if you ask 24 hrs in advance #3 you can take a walk north up the beach and see Mayan ruins and stop at the sister Park Royal resort for a drink and swim before walking back...same wristbands. #4 ignore the welcome package and take your phone off the hook the first morning to avoid the attempts to sell you a timeshare. #5 talk to the expedia guy! #6 tip the waiters and housekeepers, not because it is in any way necessary, but because they work hard to make everything perfect. Best customer service I've ever seen at a resort!

 Third year visiting, and STILL FANTASTIC!
Last year we visited the Grand Park Royal Cancun Caribe as a family of four. Two days after returning home, we sadly became a family of 3 when my sister and I lost our Dad and my mom lost her husband as he suddenly passed away. We decided that he would still want us to go back to the place we loved, so decided to return for our third visit. As always, the resort did not disappoint! This time we opted for the Presidential suite, which is a two-story room with a rooftop pool. Fantastic! Room was absolutely perfect, and was cleaned every day--which was not an easy job as we had sand pretty much everywhere. The reason we keep returning to this place and why it's so hard for us to want to go anywhere else--THE PEOPLE. The people who work here are incredible. Never have I gone anywhere and had better customer service. You don't have to lift a finger to do anything. They simply can't do enough for you, and are happy to do so. Honestly, I think that everyone in the United States who works in "customer service" needs to come here and take a lesson on how to do it. Seriously. Everyone works so hard all the time. It rained a couple days we were there, and they have people sweeping the water off the walkways AS IT IS STILL RAINING. Talk about a never ending job! Or people cleaning the banisters, and other small jobs that no one in the United States could ever be bothered to do. We love talking to people who work here and learn a little about them and where they come from, and how they came to work in this resort. In addition to everyone being helpful, friendly, and in general amazing, there are a few people I need to mention by name--that way anyone reading this review who visits will know who you need to ask for. Braulio G. is amazing. He has helped us now for 3 years visiting, and is excellent at his job. He is in Cocay Cafe, sometimes El Mirador, sometimes La Concha--always checking on people, inspecting everything, getting you whatever you need. One of the days I was sick (too much indulging!) and at the buffet he brought me some chicken soup, crackers, and a sparkling water with lime to settle my stomach. Also need to mention Noel, Verulo, and Julio from La Concha--excellent service, going above and beyond to do a great job. In El Mirador for dinner, Antonio is our favorite server, and remembers us EVERY time we go back--which is pretty impressive, considering he doesn't have Facebook, and sees a lot of faces. AMAZING. Also Misael and Jorge do an excellent job as well, always making sure we are taken care of and don't need anything else. If you have breakfast in El Mirador, make sure to ask for Hugo! He is absolutely fantastic, and will take care of you! Jovanna is one of the ladies who brings drinks around the pool, a job I can't imagine having to do, and is always happy and very quick! If you visit the Lobby Bar, make sure to ask for Humberto, who can make you a "rainbow drink." Trust me. Eating in El Oriental, Yajaira is a GREAT hostess who will give you a great table, and German will take great care of you. Recommends food that is delicious when you aren't sure what to get.The best for last--the ENTERTAINMENT STAFF. These people wear so many hats, I can't imagine doing this job. They entertain everyone all day by the pool, with so many activities--cornhole, beach volleyball, water aerobics, an obstacle course, pool Olympics, beach bingo, water polo, trivia--JUST TO NAME A FEW. If that wasn't enough, there are nightly events as well that they do--a comedy/music show, karaoke night, Mexican party, "anything can happen" night--and a Michael Jackson tribute show. So not only do they entertain all day, then at night they sing, dance, and entertain AGAIN. Some days I can barely get through my desk job, HOW could I possibly get through THAT job? So, in no order, some of my favorite people in Cancun: Nayeli, MeMe, Isabel, Gris, Edwin, Joaquin, Alex, and Leonardo. The best entertainment staff around!If you are planning to visit Cancun, VISIT HERE. You won't regret it. Counting down to the next time I can return...

Our second visit to this hotel, and the quality is still top notch! The hotel itself is very open, intricately designed in the spanish modern style, impeccable. No need to get out of the resort if your plan is too relax only, but it's not far from where nall the action is. The animation staff will keep you entertained with all sorts of activities and sports, as well as nightly shows/games. We will miss them the most! Jorge Luis, the captain at the Italian restaurant was very attentive, ...making sure we got a table and served even though we were very late due to an excursion running behind.Can't wait to go back!.
