 Don't get tricked into sales presentation
These people are very unethical in trying to get you to buy a "membership". They are crooked actually. They rope you in at the airport and lie to you to offer you a "free" breakfast but what they really offer is a sales pitch that takes 90 minutes but was much longer. I didn't take the bait and was scolded by senior management for not buying. The rooms look nice and the breakfast was good, however the sales pitch bordered on the unethical. Don't do it!

Really enjoyed our stay at Krystal Cancun. Waking up to the incredible view every morning was amazing. Breakfast buffet was outstanding every morning thanks to our waiter Balam and all of the Krystal Cancun friendly staff.

Not the greatest hotel... food is horrible! It was clean and staff was nice. We end to eat outside of the resort because no one liked the food. We had a nice view on the ocean from our room. The water of the ocean wasn't warm! We'll not return.

 Enjoyed our stay. Great location
I was surprised this hotel was as nice as it was because I booked a very economical trip. Our room was very clean. This hotel is in the center of the hotel district you can walk to any nite spot or shopping. We were not bothered by any noise from the nite life. Beach was lovely but had a lot of people enjoying the beach. We had a great time on the beach. Paid extra for the cabana bed and it was great and very inexpensive w great service. The service at this hotel was wonderful. We had no problems. We opted for the European plan and it worked well for us. The meals we had at the hotel were good. We just like to explore different restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. Remember it's Mexico so when the vacation clubs approach just say no to them. Be firm and tell them you don't want the free stuff they will leave you alone. This hotel was the least aggressive w their sales pitch. Be aware that it starts at the airport just say no and get your own taxi or find your transportation provider.

 Visited for conference (and vacay ;)
Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The beach: so white! The water: so warm! I would definitely cone back again. Special thanks to Jaira, who took care of us every breakfast. Make sure to ask for mimosas in the morning ;)

 Nice Hotel in a great area
We stayed at the hotel for a week during the off season. The best part of the stay was the pool/beach and the breakfast. The pool was very clean and led directly to the beach. The buffet was excellent and the staff was really great, especially Jaira. She helped us out with food, service, and any questions we had.

Close to shopping , currency and party zone. Great food choices if you get the all inclusive bracelet. Bellman Julio friendly and a great help. Easy checkin and can buy any tour easy. Great pool area with beautiful beach. Very relaxing.

 Corrupt business, lying staff, criminal
This was my honeymoon...Day 1. They put us next to the nightclub, knowing it would be loud. The room was dirty. When we first complained, front desk staff told us it was just a rare party that was booked, it wouldn't be loud at night. Lie #1. Lost night of sleep, 3AM complaints. We moved to another room. It was also dirty, but was not loud. We went to the timeshare presentation. We didn't know that's what it would be, but that's what it was. Lie 2. I didn't plan to purchase anything, so I had a drink. At age 50, I know my limits. I'm 6'2" and weigh 225#. I had one pina colada and almost immediately felt disoriented, confused. I believe strongly that I was drugged. I work in law enforcement and am wondering if I was roofied or something-- not a full dose but enough to completely alter my state of mind. I ended up purchasing a time share, even signing papers. I recall telling my wife that I didn't feel right, that she should be making the decisions, that I wad having difficulty understanding things. We were sold lies. We were in love and trusting fools. I cannot capture in words how violated I felt/feel. I tried to make the best of this... it was too late to fight anything after returning to the states. Today I learned of yet another lie dealing with Ice Rewards. It keeps getting worse. Go elsewhere. enjoy your travels. Cancun is beautiful and offers much for your enjoyment. There were other lies. The very fact that the timeshare presentation is connected to the lobby and that the staff of the resort advertise for the time share presentation is a misrepresentation. I looked through the paperwork afterwards and they say they're not affiliated. BS. They're partners! KRYSTAL KNOWINGLY SETS UP THEIR GUESTS!!!!

Hotel lovely and staff fantastic. Randomly picked to be upgraded to Krystal Club Members and received free breakfasts and wine and cake in room throughout stay. Location is perfect, situated on quiet beach with lively spot a few minutes walk away. Pool was lovely and warm and the beach was safe and clean with a life guard. The sand was like walking on talc!

 Good location
This hotel is quite nice, very clean, you have the option of choosing whether you want it to be ok inclusive or if you only want to stay in, which I found very convenient since most of the time I was out and some hotels make you buy the all inclusive package and don't use it. Also it's very near to where the action takes place, lots of restaurants, bars, clubs and malls are within walking distance. They also offer lots of things to do at a reasonable price.

From the arrival to Cancun we had a very nice man who transported us from the airport to Krystal Hotel Resort he was our first contact and "tour guide" he answered our questions of the sightseeing on our way to our destination...when arriving to the hotel it has a great front view and lobby...the porter made us feel welcomed and ready to receive our luggage...once we arrived to the front desk the reception were not welcoming at all...we felt as if we had to catch their attention in order to be noticed, and the sad thing it was not a busy day there was only one other guest... and again the porter was attentive and offered us Cryspy Creams Donuts while we wait...we checked in put on a white wristband which point it out that we were all inclusive...went up to our room got settled, the rooms were decent, clean, we admire the beautiful beach front seenery like no other, we were at aaaww...out on our room balcony...we met many staff they were so nice...which made us feel welcomed like Mr. Balám, Mr. Omar, La Capitana...Thank you for your fantastic service...would definitly go back....

I don't understand some of the people expectations for this place it's mexico the staff was amazing food was good u have go get all inclusive better deal. The beach was the best in Cancun we traveled around and checked. The location don't get better outside resorts is all clubs and and malls. We took ferry to Isla Majeres island all the peeps of mexico is nice I don't get the bashing. Linda was best server and Xavier best bartender we already planning next yr trip

From the rooms to the pool areas. Everything was pretty clean. Great location if you are walking around. The view of the ocean/beach was beautiful. Our check-in was a delight with Fernando and Sara. Oh, and handing out crispy creams donuts at check-in just topped it off to a great start.

Very good location; right in the middle of hotel zone. 5min walk from club aria and surrounded by dozens of restaurants. If you are staying here I would say there is no need of paying all inclusive fee.Staffs are all friendly and helpful.Negative point is facility is a little too old. Sometimes you find water dripping from bathroom ceiling or window hard to close. But they are affordable with their beautiful view from ocean view rooms.

 Family vacation at Krystal Cancun
We stayed in room 1211. A/C was not cold enough, The bathroom sink keep on getting clogged. Other then that our our stay was excellent . The view from the pool into the ocean is amazing. Buffet breakfast lunch and dinners were amazing as well. The hotel is connected to a restaurant called el Mortero, also amazing. The hotel workers all very kind. I would definitely return to Cancun.

The location of the hotel is perfect. The beach is beautiful. Sand is powder white and the water is calm. Very nice cabanas to lay under. The hotel itself is nice but could use a little updating. It is clean and there is nothing wrong with it but if you are looking for all new fancy stuff, this isn't it. It is charming and nice. Hotel staff were all extremely nice and helpful. Rafael especially was very helpful. The food is average but the drinks are pretty good for an all inclusive. I came for a wedding and this was probably the best part of the whole experience at krystal. The ceremony itself was nice on the beach but there were still alot of people around on the beach and in the nearby pools watching everything. If you are looking for something very private, this isn't it, but if you dont mind a few people watching from across the pool, it is a nice ceremony. However, I was very impressed with the reception.The decorations, lighting, and food were all amazing. The waitstaff were incredible. You were never without a drink in your hand. They also had a very nice DJ and dance floor. It was outside by the pool areas but still felt private. Overall it was a nice experience at krystal.

Krystal treated us really well this trip! We usually go there twice a year, but the staff was a lot friendlier and accommodating this time. We were super pleased with the service we individually received. Huge shout out to Freddy from entertainment. He made sure we had something to do everyday, and he even made sure we were setup at the club. That was a major plus! Thanks for making my birthday a special one!

 My stay
When we arrived i went to the front desk. I already asked for an early check-in. The girl at front desk said we would have to wait about 20 min. Ok. she said to go eat. went to resturant and they only take a charge card, we had no room yet. went back to front desk the girl could not even look at us. i stayed their. then she said we had a room on the 7th floor, beautiful. so we went to our room. it looked fine. But after staying their their was sand on the floor, the AC was warm, never cool, but very wet feeling, really needs update. The AC would leak from the ceiling in the bathroom. The frigerator was warm. There were no wine glasses so we asked and they said you will have to pay for them. the blanket on the bed was very stinky, we told them to remove it. In the room their is no dresser to put your clothes. The safe did not work too good, called they came to fix it, all the wires and battery were bad, they did fix it. All they have is buffet for each meal 2 resutrants. the beach was a bit dirty with seaweed didn't see them cleaning it up. There was a rain storm and the 1st floor in the other building, new one, the water was going into the 1st floor rooms. Also, because it was raining so much i asked at the front desk for an umbrella, they said they do not have any, what hotel doesn't have an umbrella. i would not stay again.

 Kudos for staff
This is our second trip to Cancun and the first at Krystal. The location is perfect! Here's a shoutout to some excellent staff members: bellboy Julio, Yendy and Mangus bartenders, and Karla in the spa. Julio helped us with our boarding passes and helped take the fear away about travel. Karla and her crew did an excellent job in the spa. The couples experience was so romantic and relaxing. Of course, there's nothing better than a good bartender!The food was so so. The buffet was a disappointment. However, the Mexican restaurant was amazing! And then there is the gigantic lobster tail in the Italian restaurant. I recommend this resort, especially if you like to go clubbing. They are just minutes away. We recommend everyone experience Cocabongos!!!

 Very nice staff
This isn't really my type of hotel or location but we were there for a conference across the road from the hotel. don't like the constant music though I confess I got used to it after 6 days. The rooms are very spacious, great balcony and sea views.The breakfasts are the real stars, never had such an incredible choice of such delicious things, nuch even changes from day to day. Also excellent coffee and express our (if you ask for it). The staff are very attentive and cheerful, really make you feel they want you to have a good time.Lovely beach and pool so altogether a good experience.

 Keep your expections low, you'll be fine.
Staff at the front is nice, cleaning ladies and super sweet, bar tenders are not nice. Clean yes, but old. Hotel patched up everywhere instead of being refurbished. Sister hotel with Krystal Palace (STAY AWAY FROM IT, TRUST ME).Only reason its hard to pass up, the beach. BEST in CANCUN. Cool pool too. Downtown in the middle of bars, clubs and food.

 Awesome Service!
This is my second time staying at Krystal hotel & resort in Cancun, Mexico. I absolutely recommend this place as it's view is breathtaking, and most importantly, the employees are so nice and friendly. Juan Valencia, who works in the activities department, made our girls' trip so much fun. He is super energetic and engages the vacationers in volleyball games, dart contests, water aerobics, and so much more. We will definitely be back!!Muchas Gracious Krystal staff :)

 Good location , but not the best beach
Stayed at their sister Hotel Krystal Urban Centro which offered a free shuttle service to use this Resorts grounds and facilities. The Beach was not the greatest, as there was a lot of seaweed on the shores.The facilities were very nice and inexpensive. The Resort is divided into Hotel and time sharing units.Nice outdoor pool areas.

Check in and out was easy, the grounds were beautiful as was our rooms , which was large with large balcony with ocean and pool view rooms were clean and with hair dryer and lighted makeup mirror. the pool was large and nice but closes early and is enforced,the staff was friendly and the drinks were good and strong the beach was the best part we were able to use our floats and or snorkel without leaving or paying extra .Food at the beach hut was very good buffet was ok not great the reservation places to eat was really good and the bus stop was just down the street but many shops just oust the door of the resort and shopping was right there and sights like churches and fountains ect not far away will return again

 Great location! Not so good hotel!
The hotel is not the best but the rates are affordable. The location is very convenient next to the clubs and restaurants are like a block away! The food is not so great so i'm glad i never got the all inclusive deal with them. The rooms are comfy and look modern so thats a good thing but their people isn't the best not very welcoming at all. This will be a good hotel to stay if you're on a budget and just needing an affordable room.

 Very nice Hotel
It was a great hotel, it was a 3 minute walk to coco bongo and cancun party area. The beach was the best. I totally recommend it! The only cons I have is that I was called at 7 am from the hotel offering a free breakfast and when we went to pick up we had to go to a 2 hour meeting.

 Best vacation ever
Krystal was beyond perfect! I have to say Kamati was always smiling and deserves some kind of recognition and pay rise and I want to thank him for being extremely nice and helpful!! Rooms were cleaned everyday thanks to Rosie for doing an amazing job! The pool and beach area was so nice, amazing view from our hotel! Bed was so comfy, hotel close to clubs and shops which was a great plus! I have nothing bad to say and hope to come back, stayed there for 2 weeks and was a dream holiday

 Great Location and great beach
Americans- remember you are not in America when you go to Mexico. We all have different values. So you can't judge this hotel based on American standards.This hotel is nice if you want to stay close to the beach. I loved the fact that i could walk right out my room to the beach. The drinks were cheap and food was reasonably priced. I booked the hotel through RCI so i felt that they treated me better since i was a member. I could walk to the near by restaurants. Truth about rooms. they are outdated but they are trying to redo the rooms. the walls had been painted yet the doors were old. my room did have ants yet it could be because we were by the water but i had a sink in room which meant i didn't use my partial kitchen. the hotel is close to the clubs so i did hear music at night. it was only for two nights and used ear plugs so it wasn't that bad. Once again remembering i wasn't in America, the A/C situation is different. the air was cold but i would have preferred it colder. the maintenance man tried to fix it twice but since i couldn't speak Spanish they didn't understand. the friends room was colder so i didn't have the best air. Yet i had these air condition problems in France. if you want a place to stay near the beach and party scene stay here. if you want an Hilton don't stay here.

 Worst vacation ever and i have been to Cancun 12 times in 10 years.
They gave me a kitchenette room which is I did not request. I struggled with them for a day to get the right room. The room was damp, clothes always damp, the bathroom never really cleaned, the desk had a chocolate brown finish which was sticky. I wiped it clean with a damp cloth and got rid of the sticky stuff. The patio door never locked and could not be fixed. The ice machines only 2 were broken for 5 days and after numerous complaints was finally fixed 2 days before my departure. This is a 2 star hotel not a 4 star hotel. The grounds were immaculate but their accommodations were disgusting.I rate it 2 stars.Jeff H. Cincinnati, Ohio

 Summer vacation at Kristal grand punta Cancun
I visited Cancun from the 8/9 till the 8/14 at the altitude tower all inclusive. From the front desk to the staff in the bar and pool side and also the beach the staff was outstanding and very attentive. Hector from the front desk was always very attentive to make sure my visit was pleasant. The staff from the poolside and beach jorge, Adolfo, Antonio, lady think her name was marva and also a other staff who was a male from the poolside in which I unfortunately can't remember his name but was station in the poolside from altitude pool was great and made sure I was always taken care as well as my daughter they made us feel like family and also was very welcoming. I for sure was come back and stay at Krystal due to the amazing staff.

 Week in Cancun, Great Time!
We had a wonderful time at Krystal Cancun. We were given a lovely room with a beautiful beach view. The Hotel is located right next to the center of Cancun's night life, which makes getting around really easy.Brenda and Sandrac met us at the front desk when we got there and made sure we had a great time.Totally recommended.

 Stay away from presentations
Not more than 5 minutes after arriving to Cancun for my husband and my honeymoon we were trying to find our shuttle and were approached by a RICARDO in the airport who immediately started promoting Krystal Hotel and Resorts. He stated in order to redeem discounted prices for excursions and a massage all we had to do was sit for a "30 min presentation." He also stated a taxi would pick us up and drive us back to our hotel. He stressed that he worked off commission and needed us to commit to the presentation. We felt bad and wanted to keep our word so we woke up at the crack of dawn and decided to come to the hotel as promised. We arrived at 8:30 am, we did eat breakfast(the only meal they provided for a 8 hour stay) and from then on it was ongoing pressure to commit to a vacation club. Once the 5th person tried to convince us for the 100th time that we should invest we finally had enough and decided to leave. We did get a massage for a reduced price but when we were ready and asked about the returning cab we were informed there was NO cab service and a shuttle service would be our option but we had to wait an additional hour. We were told if we wanted to we could pay $55 US to get back to the hotel and opt out of the shuttle service. When I reached out to RICARDO in regards to all he promised NOT one response (crickets). In total we were promised a cab to and from the hotel, a 30 min presentation, a beach bag and tequila all which didn't happen. What we got was a waste of 8 hours during our honeymoon, no food, a person who lied to us in order to make a buck. The shuttle ride was over an hour because we had to drop and pick people up. RICARDO you are a liar and deceptive. Everyone one exiting the airport stay clear of RICARDO and KRYSTAL HOTELS. As part of the presentation we went on a hour long tour. To be honest the facility from what I noted needs a lot of upgrades and renovations. Every public bathroom I used smelled horrible and was dirty. In fact bathrooms are disgusting. The bathroom in the spa was even missing a toilet seat and did not flush properly. There is much needed renovations as there is apparent wear and tear of the facilities. The stair cases are all cracked, there are tears in the furniture parts of the building is literally falling apart. I can go on and on but I'm exhausted from this terrible day.In a nut shell this experience took away from our honeymoon experience anyone who is approached for a "Presentation." Don't do it. It's a waste of a whole day and RICARDO will LIE in order to get his commission. Plus after doing some research it seems like it's all a scam please beware.

 UGH!
Hi All,First of all when I booked BOOKVIP I was a little worried because it was cheap and I knew there had to be some kind of issues. I want to say that when I booked my trip to Cancun, Mexico at the Krystal Resort Cancun, the agent was nice and helped explain my vacation. However, they failed to tell me that the presentation would be a timeshare presentation if you were interested in purchasing a timeshare. They did explain that we would have to do a 90-120 minute presentation and that we would give our honest opinion to say "No" if we needed to. First of all, this is exactly what happened to me upon arrival. We got the hotel and when I checked in, we were made aware of our 8am presentation the next morning. We were placed in room 1203. When we got to our room, it was sooooooo hot. They came to try to fix the air conditioner but instead we resorted to a fan and that is what we had to deal with for the six days. The air sorta worked better with the fan in the room also. They told us they could not change our rooms and that the "Caribbean is hot miss, it's not like where you come from". It's always hot here. Never have I ever been told that and I've been around the Caribbean a lot of times. My husband was not happy and we were dreading having to be so hot. Then they put us in the rooms for people at the discounted rate. The rooms they want you to buy are absolutely beautiful but that's not what we experienced. Next onto the day of the seminar. We started at 8am with an introduction to what we would be up against and then made our way to breakfast. At this time our tour guide/sales woman had breakfast with us and asked us a million questions about our future and our vacations and whether or not we would be interested in a timeshare and if this interested us. We kindly said, "No" and she proceeded to question us "why". We then moved on to the tour of the hotel and got to see the room that we would buy if we purchased the timeshare! It was amazing! Lastly, we went back to this "office" with all men and women sitting in it waiting to sell you! Very intimidating and we don't get intimidated easily! Eyes were all over us! We sat down. Theresa explained the time share and we still said, "No". At that point, Theresa called in Spanish for some help from the other sales managers. One came over to us and tried to lay on more S..t! We still said, "No", very politely. Then the owner, (former Dallas cowboy), Rafael Septien proceeds to walk over, shows us his Super Bowl ring and tries to continue to sell us the time share. My husband says we will talk it over when we get home and he proceeds to harass us big time. So my husband walks out and he starts yelling at me that we will pay the rack rate now that we haven't completed the seminar. Yells at me at the door and tells me he is taking me down to talk to Maria and Carmen about paying more for the room cause I broke the contract! This guy is f...... crazy. Even the other Spanish sales reps were taken back. He then walked away from me after I said ok to paying the rack rate per night. I was being so pressured, I didn't know what the heck to do or say. I left and went back to my room and tried to relax and enjoy my vacation. So, as far as bookvip goes it was ok but this hotel is horrible and should be taken off of your timeshare list of hotels! I hope that other places you promote are better then this dump! With all honesty, Visitors on August 15 from Philadelphia

my room was nice, the palm trees blocked the pretty view i had. The bartenders, Yendy and Roberto were really nice and very attentive. They made suggestions when we wasn't sure about what to drink. At one point Yendy suggested Jimador, tequila and it was a good suggestion. We enjoyed our service at the bar very much...

 Good Hotel for the Price
I have stayed at this hotel twice. The first time was probably better in my opinion. Both times I stayed a week. I have been to a couple other resorts in Cancun, and the food here is better than average. I love being able to order food at the pool. Last time I was there they had steak and chicken nachos that were good, but they got rid of the steak nachos which I liked better. The front desk staff is fairly friendly. Two or three of the bartenders were great, but my FAVORITE was Yendy!! She was so nice and helpful. The first time I was there, she was a pool server, but now she is working in the lobby bar. My group LOVED her both times! She was very attentive and didn't even mind when we got too rambunctious. My only complaint would probably be the entertainment. I really like when there is fun music (Top Hits/pop) playing at the pool, but they never had music unless there was water aerobics. I think if there was more fun things to do by the pool, it would be better. My favorite part of this resort is the location. Definitely the closest to the city where you can go to the clubs, shop, etc.

 Worst resort experience ever
For months, we built up expectations for a tremendous stay at Krystal. I'd read reviews but was told they recently underwent renovations so I booked. My family knows how to adjust so we still had an amazing time, but it had absolutely nothing to do with the accommodations nor the resort's customer service. Just AWFUL. Our check-in experience started us on a bad note. One of the front desk attendants, Carolina allowed someone to jump ahead of my father who'd been patiently waiting and when he voiced his displeasure (3 times), she told him to wait. He ended up having to be helped by someone else. We got to our rooms (2 different rooms on two different floors) and the air conditioning didn't work. They were able to fix mine but repeatedly said they'd fix my parents (Dad has asthma). At around 1am, after repeated calls to the front desk and after they stopped answering his calls and he had to go to the front desk, my parents were finally moved to a "temporary room" but only after having been told that they didn't answer because his phone must not be working (though Dad called other numbers just fine). We also had to keep calling for washcloths (which had to be requested daily) until they literally cut our phone off (no dial tone). When we got to our room on day 1, I was disappointed to learn that we didn't have a balcony or a good view. I asked Sofia (another unprofessional and dishonest front desk rep) if I could pay for an upgrade and be moved. She indicated they were sold out but "checked with her manager" and assured me I could come back in the morning and they'd get me into another room. After waiting in line 10 minutes the next morning, she told me no rooms were available and said she never assured me one would be which was a total fabrication. My parent's issues also continued into the next day. We finally were able to speak with the manager, Israel who made it clear he didn't want to help either situation. He refused to look/engage with either my mother or me and only addressed my father. I'm a professional and know how to engage professionally. No raised voice and only appropriate words and he looked at me and told me he would not deal with me. Needless to say, things escalated. I just wanted someone to be straight with me so I could reset expectations. We are great tippers and unfortunately, we came back with quite a lot of cash, because most of the people delivering service were not up to par. I admit, again, that we still had an enjoyable vacation, but that had nothing to do with those employed to provide service. I recommend bypassing this destination. OH... and the beach bar and food close early. The one thing the hotel has to offer is a great beach but that's easy to find in Cancun.

 Great Hotel on a Budget
Stayed at this hotel for 5 days and 4 nights in July 2017. Travelled with 2 other adults and a 12 year old. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the very friendly doormen who offered to take our bags to our room while we checked in. We stayed in the club rooms on the third floor of the club tower. Our room came with the free continental breakfast (bread, fruit, cereal and juice) which was in a different building on the 8th floor. So it was a pretty far walk to get breakfast before 10 am. Our room had a perfect view of the ocean and pool area. We really enjoyed the infinity pool and the way it lights up at night is beautiful. BEWARE of the in room minibar, if you eat any of the snacks in the minibar (even if you have the all-inclusive package) it will be charged to your room. Also the room did not come with a microwave which was a real bummer since we ordered food away from the hotel and had no way to heat it up. The beach area is very well kept, it was cleaned daily while we were there. They do have beds on the beach along with lounge chairs which were not too crowded and we really enjoyed. They also serve food and drinks on the beach. The beach food and drinks were very good although the sodas were really flat and uncarbonated so the adults mostly drank alcohol or water. I have read reviews before where people complained about hearing music blaring from the clubs nearby but we did not hear any music from a club. The walls must be thin because we did hear the people in the room next to us cursing and being very loud. A/C worked in the room, sometimes a little colder than we'd like lol, but you can control the A/C. The wifi worked very well while we were there. You can also find spots on the beach and by the pool area where the wifi will work. I would definitely recommend this hotel which is a very reasonable price instead of all of the other overly expensive hotels in the area. Wish I had taken more pictures of how pretty the club rooms are. The shower as well was very nice and had the waterfall shower installed.

We came to the Krystal Cancun with a group of about 40 friends on a graduation trip, and it was definitely the best 5 days of my life! The staff always made sure that we were being attained to and gave us an amazing experience. As a large group, I could imagine we were hard to please and annoying at times but the bartenders and staff were so sweet. Yendi and Roberto were the BEST bartenders! So inviting and at the end of the trip, we were honestly sad to leave them. Nelson was also a really hard-working sushi chef and he had no problem making the endless amount of sushi that I was ordering (it was way too good). Overall, it was a great experience thanks to the people I was with and the amazing staff! Will probably be back for a Spring break trip.

 "ONE OF THE WORST VACATIONS EVER"
My family and I went here on a Book VIP vacation. We got the hotel for a very reasonable price and in exchange we had to listen to their 'vacation club' presentation. We arrived to the hotel and found the staff to rude, We checked into a room that was old, musty, and worn out with mattresses as old as 30 years, dirty and abused. We had a gorgeous view parking lot and construction site. There was trash in the hallways always and the stairwells were full of garbage. Our bathroom was falling apart with an upscale glass door that was filthy with 5 year old soap stuck to the bottom and there was mold in the corners. The food was mediocre in the 2 restaurants on the property, but was very good at el Hacienda Mortero, which is also part of the all inclusive. The pool water is murky and the pool is dirty. The staff in the restaurants were downright rude at times as well. And we were considering to buy until we experienced the hotel.

 Great Experience
We stayed for a week and the experience was great! At the beginning our room was horrible (humidity and the A.C. didn't work well) and they gave us a balcony room which gave us a gorgeous view. The pool and beach were amazing! We're fascinated. The food was ok, especially the Italian Restaurant Las Velas. "Elizabeth" is an excellent waitress. She is very helpful providing awesome service. Also, Angelica very nice person who served us at the pool side. Overall, Krystal Cancun was great. We definitely recommend this hotel in Cancun.

 First time at krystal Cancun with minor details
First the check in clerk told us to go to another clerk around back without telling us where the other location was at. No one took us to show us where to go. When we got to where we needed to be, Shofia was very attentive and helpful with our check in process. She even walked us to the front of the hotel to show us where we needed to go. The rooms where very nice with marble floors and with very big sliding doors. The one downfall of the room was the centrel a.c. didn't cool the rooms that we'll and the beds were cheap with very little padding. The foods was great through out our whole stay. We liked how they had different variety options during lunch and dinner. Even through I had 2 family members that are picky and they were able to find something to eat. We had a server named Balam who took care of us when we came in to get breakfast and told us we had to take our food to our room because they were closing in 10 mins. He even made us reservations for dinner at one of the restaurants there. He always came by to check on us if we did have his area.The staff there was very attentive, even with a language barrier.The one downfall at this resort is they need to put in there booklet what time the pool closes to what time they take the chairs off the beach. Also, some of the bartenders didn't know what they were doing when they made drinks. One bartender named Christopher made a great mixed drinks and we stay with him when we wanted drinks.The other downfall was the noise level. There was a club that had noise level between 10 and 4 in the morning. You can hear the staff dragging the chairs to be put up instead of picking them up.Also they told let you know that they gate off the entrance to the beach at certain hours at night where you can't have access to the beach if you wanted to take a walk.

 Service beyond expectations
Nice hotel and excellent location. Superior service from staff. Julio at the Bell Stand is wonderful and so helpful. Wait staff at the restaurants can't do enough. Venus is my favorite and Fernando! They are here for many years and remember you when you return. Bala'm is also wonderful. Please show your appreciation with a tip. They work so hard and certainly deserve it. Patricia in the 8th floor lounge is wonderful. There are no words to describe her kindness and work ethic. I would recommend this hotel Although it is not the most luxurious on the Island, its location and service is unmatched.

 Great experience!
Other then the humidity in the hotel rooms everything was amazing. The view from the 7th floor is beautiful. We booked the Romantic Room that came with a desert and a bottle of champagne. The location of the hotel is at a great spot. Walking distance to their clubs, Restaurants and supermarket. The staff was very nice. Patricia and Aldrin provided awesome service during our continental breakfast! The resort has a couple restaurants. We only tried the buffet "Aquamarina" and it was ok,but they can definitely improve their food options. Overall the stay at Krystal Cancun was great !

 Avoid It if possible
My husband went to a conference and i joined for the weekend. Serious renovations are needed, long lines for check in and in general a pretty bad experience. The pool area is good but the towels smelled pretty bad. Good location but for sure you can find way better options that this one.
