Booked all inclusive but very disappointed. Dinner buffet not on due to low season which we were unaware of. Unless you tipped they would have you wait up to an hour for a refill. A singer one night a clarinet another was only entertainment. Best part of holiday was the lovely Nicalosa who kept our very dated room very clean. Most staff rude and inattentive, having to sign for all food and drink including water although we had all inclusive wrist bands on. Building works everyday at the Altitude where it seemed everyone's attention was based. Spent a fortune for a very basic holiday

 You can find a better place to stay...
This all inclusive resort is one of those that motivates you to stay at a regular hotel, paying for your meals. Nothing is tasty, the liquors they use for the cocktails are cheap, the service is maybe the worst part. It can take half an hour to get a drink, if you get it. All the staff we deal with was so apathetic, and asking them for a drink or something to eat seems to bother them, they just want to finish their shift. The rooms are small and the furniture is old and not in the good way. The water at the sink and shower smells like plastic (to drink it is out of the question). So if you have other options, go for them.

 Great Staff!
We stayed here the first week of October. We booked the Altitude Tower because it was a great deal. Turns out that the tower just opened in August and is not fully complete. Don't worry. The construction did not get in the way of our trip and everything was open. First, we got in on the first flight of the day and arrived about 6:45am. We hoped to at least use the resort until we could check in. Ricardo at the front desk surprised us by letting us check in right away, gave us an upgrade to an ocean view and even made sure we could use the continental breakfast at the tower. The tower has its own concierge and hosts breakfast and cocktail hours exclusive to Altitude guests. Jose Luis ran these events daily and really took care of us.We mainly go to relax on the beach and the staff there was great as well. Alejo was fantastic and made sure we always had fresh drinks. The food was a mixed bag. We did not care for the buffet at all. Not a big selection and it seemed like it was sitting out for awhile. We did enjoy El Mortero and Ayami. Part of our package included a tequila tasting and Chefs Table meal. The meal was specially prepared and excellent- Cilantro soup was amazing! Miguel, the sommelier, hosted and did a wonderful job both times. We ended most of our nights at The Lounge with Antonio providing great service. Overall, the service was fantastic. The main resort was very clean and taken care of for an older property. A few large pool areas and a large beach. Our room was nice and new . Shower was huge and beds were comfortable. We had a few minor housekeeping issues but they were corrected right away. My only other issue was that the only place (Deli) with good coffee was not part of the all inclusive plan. We had a great time- the issues were minor and we would definitely stay at the Altitude tower again.

 Very nice staff. Great location
I stayed here Oct 1 - Oct 7. This is the second time I have stayed here this year. The location is very close to the Coco Bongo area, about a five minute walk. The beach is immaculate. The staff are all very friendly. Especially Yolanda, at the Lobby Bar. My room had an incredible view of all the hotels along the beach, and of the crystal clear water. The room was kept clean, and the room frig was always stocked. I highly recommend Krystal Grand to everyone.

 Best place in Cancun!!
My husband and I just came back from 1 week at Krystal. Amazing!! The food is absolutely AMAZING!! quality and always fresh. 3 reataurants on site: the grill, risotto and ayami. One more outside the resort, called Mortero. The food and service was amazing in all those locations!! Gustavo and Jorge were our waiters at the beach and pool bar... excellent service and always funny!! They take their time to explain and guide us through our concerns and night life. The pools were nice and clean. We loved the beds in the water... great for tanning.I would suggest everyone to get all inclusive... worth the price.Nevative points:- no ac in the lobby and on the floors- the chairs on the beach were bad quality..pls change them

 Disappointing
We went for my in-laws 50th anniversary with a lot of family members so we didn't select the hotel. While the pricing was budget friendly, nothing was really great. There was no a/c in the lobby so if you were siting at the lobby bar, you were sweating. The rooms were average but we were facing the construction of a new tower so we heard noise daily both in the room and on the resort. Every time we turned on the shower, an extremely large rattling noise ensued and continued for the duration of the shower. It sounded like a semi was coming through the wall but we got used to it. Because of the construction, the main bar with the swim up pool was closed which wasn't something disclosed when making the reservation. Some of the umbrellas in the other pool were broken and remained that way during the week we were there. We did get a discount on the all inclusive part since we waited to purchase that option until we checked in. The restaurants on the resort were good and there was a nice variety of food. Others in our party opted to not do all inclusive and dine out in the city. This is a small resort and probably not somewhere I'd stay again after traveling to other resorts in Mexico.

 AMAZING HOTEL PLEASE STAY HERE!
My fiancé and I are leaving tomorrow from Cancun to go back home to Atlanta. We usually never leave reviews for hotels but we felt it was necessary to recognize this amazing hotel for it’s dedicated service to its guests. We had booked the Altitude room without knowing it would be in a different tower of the hotel. When we went to check in we were told that because we had booked the “VIP room,” we would need to go to the VIP Check-in, which was located in the Altitude Tower, attached to the main entrance of the hotel. We were greeted by Hector, with complimentary mojitos and piña coladas, truly a “VIP” experience! We were then upgraded from ocean view to ocean front and had a breathtaking view of the beach, pool and the beautiful turquoise ocean. We were also given free breakfast buffet at the Altitude tower every morning along with free open bar access inside our tower during certain hours of the day. Our room was cleaned twice every single day, our shoes were organized neatly, service during breakfast was amazing although it was a self-serve buffet. The main pool along with the infinity pool were our favorite spots to relax at. Loved that valet parking was free and service there was quick! Would highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone! Will definitely be returning. Book Altitude room and ask for Hector!

 Excellent Bali Bed Service!
The best thing about staying in this hotel is the Bali Beds located at the beach. My boyfriend and me spent the best three days relaxing, getting tan and being pampered at these amazing place. Mr. Hervick and Mr. Alejo´s service was absolutely outstanding! I completely recommend booking.

 Great location, terrible service
Even though the hotel is in an excellent location, their water smells really bad (like sewage water). The problem was reported to hotel management however was not solved after 5 night stay at the facility. At the end of our stay during checkout, the hotel requested us to pay for bottled water and soft drinks even though nothing was actually consumed. The treatment of hotel staff was not appropriate!

 Disappointed !!!!
So I've stay on that same Hotel when was Hyatt 5 years ago and because we loved so much we decided to stay there again specially because the beach is amazing!!!!!Here we go:Customer Service: terrible, every time that we request something I had to fight with front desk or housekeepingExemple: my son is getting out of diapers and he had couple of accidents so I talked with the housekeeper and asked her to come and mop the floor, by the way she was always wonderful, she must had forgotten so later in the day I called the housekeeping phone number and the person that answer the call was rude and annoyed by my call.But then the gentleman that come to my room was so nice and wonderful.So the impression that I got was the people serving was wonderful but management was terrible, just rude.Food: they transfer food from one restaurant to the other parts of the hotel, I love Mexican food and let me tell you my experience there was as terrible as Texmex from Taco Bell. What makes me mad is for the price you pay in hotel like that our treatment as guests where horrible.Example: the girl that show us to our seats every day for breakfast she was rude every day, we stayed there for 10 days and no smile, nothing like I would like to be treated on my VACATION I felt like it was a burden to them having us there!!Green juice was good and the fresh quesadillas and chileaquiles were wonderful beside that was o total miss.By the pool: French fries were goodRestaurant by pool: my moms salmon was frozen and uncookedAt the beach: French fries where cold and not a good portionTour packages: they sell the cheaper one theatre then they get you from the hotel at 7:05am and take you to another site and up sell you an upgrade for 1 hour to go on the same bus as you come there and stuck into a bus for hours and when you get to go on a little town called Vaiadolid they give you 15 minutes to stretch your legs by the way this town is so beautiful that I think they should let you enjoy more of that but they don't . Then you're supposed to be back by 7 pm was 8:15 pm and I called front desk to ask where was my parents and front desk one more time was rude and they told me that they would be back by midnight, not at all what I was told by travel agency there!!!! Over all I will never be back there I will stay again on the Hyatt and be treated like a princess, so upsetting!!! Waist money and time to be treated like crap and on top of pay for it!!!!

This trip will be our third time we stayed at the Krystal grand punta cancun . They have everything from being located right on the beach , three pools and friendly staff. Loved every bit of this trip. Wish we had gone "all inclusive" but otherwise this was an amazing experience. This is a beautiful hotel, with a very lovely pool and beach. This is also super close to any activities/shops/bars you could possibly want. Can't wait to visit again!

 Love this hotel!
We have been staying at this hotel since it was the Hyatt and we love it as much as ever! The view of the Cancun beach and the beach itself are gorgeous. We always stay in a deluxe ocean view room and it is worth the extra money. The staff to be friendly and helpful. A special thanks to Ricardo who found us a great room when we checked in late as a result of airline problems. The Italian restaurant is very good. We especially like the fact that this is NOT a mandatory all inclusive hotel. Currently, the hotel is still finishing the Altitude tower so parking is limited, causing congestion at the front entrance. However, I am confident they will remedy this and we will be back in Feb for another wonderful vacation.

 45 Birthday Celebration
I stayed in the Krystal Grand in the Altitude Club which is supposed to the luxury branch of the hotel. The room was spectacular! And had amazing views of the beach, it totally lived up to my expectations. My only complaint would be with the food service, if the Altitude Club is exclusive then the food should be top of the line as well. I was disappointed with the selection of breakfast choices specifically in the Altitude Club vs the selection in the main dinning hall.

 Awesome Resort
My best friend and I stayed here from Aug 6-12th. All of the staff were super friendly and became like family the week we were there. All of the bars and restaurants had really good food. The pool bar was our favorite hangout! Jesus and Erik provide daily entertainment such as water aerobics, Zumba, cocktail lessons , junior chef ( making pizzas with the kids) and many other activities! These guys are so much fun!

Hector was a great at the front desk he was very polite and helpful at all time , the waitress at the family pool and adult there all was amazing Jorje ,Aldofo ,Mario ,Antonio best services ever I recommends all of them they was very professional at all time I had a great time a Krystal grand punta Cancun plus I stay at the Attitud by Krystal tower Buildind I was the person staying at that since attitude tower just open august.2.17 I'll definitely go back to Krystal

 AWESOME VACATION
My husband and I had a wonderful vacation. The staff was amazing Hervick, Carlos, Mario thank you! If I remember there names that's how good the service was. Also the spa is a must thank you so much Alina. There Bali beds where great very comfortable. the location of the hotel is also very nice .night clubs and restaurants are at walking distance. The only downside of the hotel is the smell in the lobby. It has a weird kind of musty smell but my husband said it was the cinnamon and vanilla bean candles they had. but still you cant go wrong with this hotel.

This is my home away from home service is awesome Hervik always welcomes me and my wife with a smile and makes sure we get a baly bed which is a must have here the waitress Marvi on the beach side, Carlos and mario on the pool side will treat you really good always working hard and a smile on their face. I've been here twice this year and can't wait to come back next year again by the way food and drinks are the best here you don't need to go out.

 Beautiful beach, gentle people, bad service
Very nice beach, multicolored water but lots of trash....the beach is open for local people and that is not a problem. The problem is that people brings lots of food and drink and there is not a place to leave trash.. the hotels should have a program at school in Cancun to educate people about environment and provided trash cans to separat recyclabe material.

 the beach is nice, the hotel is not.
I had stayed here before, the hotel looks like it did years ago, lacks maintenance. They had a blackout when we did the check in, so we waited for a while to have ac, then they cut the water but no previous notice, i was just finished showering.for the rest of our stay the hotel was hot...The lobby was hot the restaurant was hot, except for a back enclosed terrace in the restaurant that opened later on for breakfast, the hotel overall is hot, the little deli store was cooler thougH, it is beyond me how they can not have a proper AC system or not have it working well for so long, I dont know. But everywhere else we went to, malls, restaurants and other hotels were nice and cool, not in here, sadly. the buffet was ok, nothing espectacular, and it truly was a pain eating being so hot in there so I had a hard time enjoying it. will not come back.

 Great location but WORST general manager service !!!
I was a long term returning customer who used to enjoy staying at the Krystal Grand Punta, however my last stay was horrible and disgusted by the GM service and no response to my complaints. From the check in desk a lady who was absolutely no help and just straight out rude. Nothing like last year when I stayed. To the bell boys and security who were rude and didn't treat you like you were staying at a "Grand" resort but a prison instead. The entrainment team, a few good bell boys, staff on the beach and by the pool are very friendly and lovely without those few good workers this hotel should be a 2 star rating hotel. For a loyal customer who stayed long term at the Krystal Grand I'm disgusted my the GM so called "service". Between the Krystal and the Grand Krystal would not even know what is so "Grand" about the Grand Krystal. For the duration of our three month stay we stayed next door at the Hyatt Ziva and that was absolutely top service as soon as you check in.

 Great Location
This hotel is located in the party central of Cancun. A few minutes walk from Cocobongo and other great bars. The was a great beach right in the front. The hotel staff were excellent and friendly at the same time. The view from the balcony is absolutely awesome and a nice place in the early evenings to grab a few drinks or catch p with friends.  Great location
I didn't know what to expect about this hotel. I was surprised with what's in store though. There was a beach right next to it and the views from the balcony was awesome. The staff were so attentive and very helpful. What I love about this hotel is its location. Cocobongo is only few minutes walk and the rest of the bars are also within a few minutes walk. The downside of this hotel is there somewhat of a musty smell and sometimes the noise coming from one of the parties down below during my stay.

 Amazing vacation and Amazing stay at Krystal Grand
This was not our first trip to Cancun but our first stay at the Krystal Grand and it was wonderful. The staff was the best and made it a great experience. Jesus and Erik with Entertainment kept us very well entertained with their outgoing personalities and helped us get our VIP tickets to Coco Bongo. Alonso at the Lounge Altitude was one of the best bartenders. The pool bar staff was very friendly. All of the Concierge staff deserve 5 stars for helping us every day with something and always having a smile on their face. The location of the hotel is perfect and close to the hottest clubs and best shopping. We miss it already and will be back next year. Thank you for a very memorable vacation. Adina Murdock

 Excellent service and great beach
The hotel has four restaurants, two are reservation-only for diners, one is a buffet for breakfast and dinner, am the last one is for a meal in the middle of the day. It also has pool and beach bars, everything included in the all-inclusive pack. The sand is beautiful white and the water bright blue.

 Grand Krystal
This hotel is amazing. I loved everything about it. The price was in our budget which was all inclusive. The food was great. It is in walking distance to the club strip and the famous Coco Bongo. All the staff is very courteous and always smiling. Jesus Jimenez and Erik Montejo are part of the entertainment group. They will make your stay a fun and memorable one. You guys are awesome. We will definitely come back!

 Good hotel
After spending some days in the playa del carmen area we came for some additional days to cancun. The Krystal Gran is a good hotel coming a bit into its years. The new tower seems to be pretty modern. The older lodgings requiere a bit of an update. Staff is friendly, restaurants are ok, a bit crowdy at times and a bit more attention to details could be paid. The pool area is a bit small and incrusted into the building missing good views.

 Short and Sweet Stay at Krystal Grand
This was our first time in Cancun as a couple and it was great from beginning to end. There was a minor mix-up with our room (we requested a room with a King bed and were initially placed in a room with two full beds), but the manager and staff who just happened to notice us walking around in confusion, went above and beyond and quickly got us into the correct room. While we waited in the Altitude lounge/bar area, Alonso made us some delicious cocktails and always let us know about activities going on in the Altitude lounge area each day. Because of that, we enjoyed happy hour every day. We felt very welcomed. Our room was located in the new building and it did not disappoint. We had a gorgeous view overlooking the main pool area and the beach from our balcony. The room was modern, updated and clean. We ate at quite a few of the restaurants (Grill, Breakfast buffet, Oriental, and Italian) and the food was tasty. Alfonso was our waiter at both the Altitude lounge and in the italian restaurant. He was so professional and made sure we were always taken care of. Lastly, I have to mention Hervik over at the Adults only pool area. We purchased a lounger bed package from him and he did everything to make sure we enjoyed our time in the area, bringing us food, drinks, cool towels, etc. We spent most of the day there because of his great service.All in all, our time at Krystal Grand was exceptional. We will definitely return!

 NOT WORTH THE MONEY
I was so surprised this hotel cost almost $500 (all inclusive plan, with tax) per night. I did not expect anything luxury for this price but I hoped it would meet our basic needs. It clearly turned me down with very minimal service and facility. I traveled a lot in the Caribbean and had stayed more than 50 different all inclusive resorts (more than 25 in Cancun and Playa del Carmen) but this hotel was the worst all inclusive hotel I ever stayed. It is supposed to be all inclusive but this hotel actually is "not much inclusive." I rarely write reviews (I wish I could write all positive experiences of good hotels, but I do not have time to do so. But I really feel I need to share my negative experiences with other people who wants to make a good choice about their vacation.) but I will spend time this time because I really want to say this out loud. I picked up this hotel because the location is convenient and the water is calmer in this area. I had stayed at the another Krystal hotel next door (it was not the all inclusive hotel back then) and had an OK experience, so I had no doubt. Plus this hotel was Hyatt before so I assumed the facility is good. I have a 2 year old son who is an extremely picky eater, so I had to choose all inclusive hotel that has a buffet with a lot of variations of foods. As soon as we arrived, we were told to go to the 14th floor to check in. That's a VIP lounge and I had an VIP check in service through expedia. However, the reception is just right there on the 1st floor and there were no people waiting. What's the purpose of going up to 14th floor with carrying so many bags and pushing a stroller? We went up there, stopping almost the each floor in the elevator, and one guy who had no smile at all assisted with us very slowly. He asked if we wanted a drink like an apple juice so we said we wanted an apple juice, and then he brought us orange juice. Not a big deal at all what juice he gave us, but it was a beginning that I noticed staff were not really paying attention to us. He was very slow and explained in very details (for example, spending 3 minutes to explain about towel cards) repeated the same thing at least 3 times (for example, repeating the wifi user name and password 3 times although he wrote it down). If people never stayed at any hotels, they may need these explanations, but it was just extremely slow to comparing to regular check in process. This is clearly not VIP and I felt so bad that two VIP people who came to that room to check out and were made to wait for a long time just to return keys. The room was not ready so we went to the beach to hang out. I went to get a drink at the bar and staff who had no smile at all (again) asked me for the room number. I did not have the room yet and they made me wait for more than 10 minutes to check my name in their system and to make me sigh on the bill that has a price of the drink. It was a very strange experience to me. I was wearing a bracelet and no other 50 all inclusive hotels I ever stayed never asked me for a room number just to get a drink or asked me to sign on the bill. I did not want to wait such a long time just to get one drink each time so we moved to the pool area. There are a bar next to the pool and chairs in the water, l and my husband asked for a drink to a bartender who had no smile at all (again). He said my husband had to order drinks to the waiter who are serving the people on the pool side. This bartender was giving drinks to the other people who were in the water, and I don't know why he told my husband to get out the water and order to get a drink. My husband said he wanted to get a drink here, this bartender passed the drink menu to him with angry face. We had no idea what was wrong with him. He decided not to get a drink in the water by this unwelcomed attitude and ordered a drink to a waiter on the poolside. It took him 20 minutes to get and took another 10 minutes to get a bill for him to sign. It was about time to check in the room so we went to the VIP lounge to get keys and heard the same instruction again about wifi etc. I asked why staff asked me for a room number and made me to sign on the bill with the price, he said this was only for internal purposes and we would not be charged. But we had to sign every time he said because there are people who are not on all inclusive plan. Please do not make the guest do this for internal purposes. You just need to distinguish people with or without all inclusive plan by the bracelet color. If they are quick to let me sign I may not mind, but throughout the stay we always had to wait for the bill to sign for a quite long time. As we checked in at 1:30pm, the room was small and faded, but I was ok with it. But I could not stand the room temperature that was 27C (81F) and I changed the setting on the AC panel in the room immediately. However, it would not go any cooler and we had to ask the reception to send over someone to check. The maintenance guy just touched the panel as I did and of course it did not solve the problem. But no matter how many times I reported the problem, they said someone already checked and "it is working." AC with the lowest temperature 27C is NOT WORKING. I as a pregnant woman who feels extremely hot and a little kid who has high energy level were sweating like a hell, and I asked the reception again to fix it while we went to eat lunch. After we came back, the room temperature was still the same. I reported the reception again and asked to change our room but they said all the rooms were the same plus they were fully booked and there were no other rooms available. Really? All the room in this building are so hot? No other rooms available at all? I went up to the VIP lounge to speak with someone directly, and one staff finally paid attention to what I said. He kindly came down to the room with me and he said lowest temperature 27C is not what it supposed to be. He went back to check something and returned to the room in a little while. He said he would send a maintenance to check the AC (not the panel like others did) again and if it did not work he would offer me a room with lower temperature. He also said we would give us an priority to change the room so we should no worry. It was already a dinner time so we went to eat, Then when we went back some maintenance people were still working so we had to kill time outside, We went back again but the room was still so hot. I went to the VIP lounge again to see the person who assisted me earlier because he said I could either come 14th floor or 1st floor because he informed both about my situation, but the person who were at VIP lounge told me all the rooms were the same and there were no rooms to switch because they were fully booked. I was so tired. I was 100% sure we could not sleep in that room. And once again I was hearing all rooms were the same, no other rooms were available. I explained the person who assisted me earlier said we could switch the room and he would inform everyone about this, but this guys said he could not help me and told me to go to the 1st floor. I spent 8 hours to get what I should get for the price, I had such an struggle. I really complained about this situation at the 1st floor reception and someone finally said she would check the available room. So there WERE rooms available. I went back to the hot room and waited for her to call. I told my husband to take my son to the VIP lounge that was nice and cool. At 10pm, I got a call from the reception

 Couples Birthday Getaway
This was our first time in Cancun and we loved it. Krystal Grand is in the hotel zone surrounded by other resorts. The view from the lobby was to die for. We stayed in room 304 which was nice and clean, but the shower head was a little rusted and the water pressure was poor. The view from the hotel lobby and the rear of the property was to DIE for! For some strange reason the Lobby area which is really large, is not air conditioned. Be prepared to be hot and uncomfortable if you have to wait in the lobby for any reason. Check-in time is at 3:00, so book your flights to arrive as close to 3:00 as possible. We paid for the breakfast buffet which included a great variety of foods and well worth the money. The restaurants on the property and room service were good as well. Hervik the outside activities coordinator was awesome, he took care of us for all of our pool and beach needs. We rented a Bali bed for the day and loved being on the beach with food and drink service. I would absoultely stay again.

 Mother & Daughter getaway
First time going there, and won't be my last. Had the greatest time of my life. The people there, the service was amazing. Not to mention the hotel was beautiful. Overall everything was absolutely marvelous. The food was excellent ! One waiter I must give a shout out to, is Jorge Hervik he was one of the best. Check him out when you go there.

this hotel has no air conditioning. the hotel lobby was hotter than it was outside. the room that I stayed in had no air conditioning it took them 2 days to transfer us into another room where I was bitten by bed bugs. they cut the power off at the hotel for an entire day. so for that day we had to walk up and down the steps couldn't take a shower or flush the toilet. it was just awful.

The Grill staff was wonderful especially Juan and Pedro! Very friendly and helpful! The hotel staff was accommodating and helpful. The hotel was very clean and I recommend going all inclusive to this hotel! Very close to the city center and shops! Shuttle and cabs were readily available.

 Good and bad
I stayed at the Krystal Grand Punta Cancun prior to this visit . This vacation was very disappointing from the aspect of the actual hotel. Property was clean.Service was excellent from the front desk and also algandro lopes was always courteous and helpful in anything I needed. On he beach our waiter Alejo Arloy was amazing from the simplest request to making sure all our needs were taken care of. His professionalism will be what I remember most about this recent stay there. We had two rooms at the Krystal Grand Punta Cancun. Both rooms lacked ample hot water. The maintenance staff tried to fix, but the fox didn't last . One room the iron didn't work and the ironing board was dirty and old. The other room, other than the water issue would never "cool"down. Also "Paul " up in 14th floor VIP check in was unprofessional and I will never go back . because of him.

 A Great Experience
The location is prime, as the ocean is calm and shallow and warm in front of the hotel. We rented a Bali Beach Bed for the two full days we were at the hotel, it's a great deal and a perfect place to spend the day. Hervik, who attended to us with a great attitude, made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout the day. Jorge Luis, the hardest working waiter in the place, kept the food and drinks coming right to our nest in the BaliBed.. We ate twice at the hotel buffet and thought the food was good. The kitchens were working under stressful conditions as we happened to be there on the day the hotel was without power for 8 hours. I would recommend the hotel get a contract with Michoacan Paletas and sell them on the property.

 Amazing beach club and really nice hotel
Me and my wife only stayed here for a night but we LOVED Cancun and this hotel. The hotel is really nice, and clean. The beach club with the infinity pool was awesome, great drinks and a reasonable price. We loved the pool with the view to the beach. This is a beach front property and the beach in front of the hotel was really clean, we are for Dominican Republic, and this is by far the best beach I've ever been to, white sand, crystal blue water.The room was really nice, the bed comfortable. This hotel deserves a 5 star rating.I'm giving a 4 for the next reasons:-2 out of the 3 ice machines that I tried were not working, so I had to go to the next level to get some ice.-The AC in the room that I stayed stopped working around 2am, and I had to call one of the maintenance guys at that time of the night, the AC started working again around 4am, we were boiling.

This is the best hotel location wise that I have stayed in Cancun. It is within walking distance of most entertainment and the beach is the best. I did not even go to the pool because the beach is so nice. I would recommend for couples, families and friends.

The rooms smell so bad! The beds feel damp, pillows stink we haven't even gone near the shower as it mouldy and the water stinks. Towels are dirty. Bathrobes have stains on them. Can't even change the aircon temperature. The rooms are so outdated. Hotel staff aren't that friendly. The only positive is that it's right on the beautiful beach and right near the clubs and bars we will NOT be staying here ever again. The price is way off for this place it is very expensive and needs to be renovated and to train their staff better. Yuck!

 The best hotel in Cancun!!
I have been to Cancun three times this year and have stayed here every time! This is by far the best hotel on Cancun! The view is the best and the location is prime!! You can walk to the ferry, Chedraui, Coco Bongo and all the other clubs and restaurants. There is just no where else to stay!!

 Far From Grand !
Pros: The three pools at this resort are great as is the dinner staff at the grill restaurant. I liked that they had an adults only pool facing the ocean. Very romantic. The rooms are clean and spacious, however seem a bit outdated. The ocean portion of the property was clean and beautiful. The property is located close to the center of the city so if you plan on hitting the bars and clubs the location is good.Cons: The majority of the poolside servers I encountered don't understand English which was a bit surprising but made sense considering this is a budget resort in relation to most others in Cancun. The staff at the front desk couldn't find my reservations and gave absolutely no information about the property at check in. I even had to go back down to get the wi-fi code which annoyed me a bit. The property is undergoing some very noisy construction which made it difficult to hear music clearly when swimming in the main pool. The food is mediocre at best (to be fair I only visited one of three restaurants). I ordered several Pina colada's at the beach bar and they didn't have straws for the two days I was there. The in-room safe didn't work but I didn't bother to call maintenance. Overall I would only recommend this hotel to those booking at the last minute who have few alternate choices. I booked day of and other properties rates were much higher. I paid $180 US per night and an additional $117 per person for all inclusive bands.

 Great location and views
I have stayed here numerous times while in Cancun for work. The property is modern and clean. While not the fanciest, it has an excellent location at the top of the "7" beach strip and is close to all of the touristy beach attractions and close to the grocery store and numerous cheap and mid range eateries. Ricos Tacos nearby is a favourite. Beach facing rooms have great views but during peak season the noise coming off of the beach can go all night. Internet is spotty and seems to work less on high floors. Staff is friendly. Overall, a good value.

 Great hotel, GREAT location.
GREAT hotel. Our room was spacious, had AMAZING ocean views, and was prefect for our trip. We stayed 5 nights and enjoyed the beach front, pools, and dining. There was a bit of construction going on, theyre adding another tower. It didn't bother us or cause any issues. Most employees were friendly and kind. Hotel is SUPER close to restaurants, clubs and plenty of shopping. We walked back and forth every evening with no problems and really enjoyed ourselves. There is also a convenient store located directly in front of the hotel for quick and speedy access. We are definitely coming back! My only problem was not getting to stay longer.
