JW Marriott Cancun
JW Marriott Cancun Review
In Cancun, the name JW is associated with VIP. Regarded as one of the very best couple of hotels in the Hotel Zone by a lot of people, this property goes far beyond to provide excellent accommodations, facilities, and service.
A perfect example of exceeding expectations, after Hurricane Wilma, JW set up hurricane-resistant glass in all of the windows and mounted them with a virtually unbreakable iron. The rooms are what I prefer to call high-end standard, with nothing earth-shattering when it comes to design, but offering all the best fabrics, pieces of furniture, and toiletries. Every one of the rooms have balconies, flat-screen television sets, and wi-fi, and the suites all include a sofa bed, independent bedroom, and host spectacular views.

Club 91 is a “boutique” hotel inside the hotel, providing more customized service, five daily meals, high quality refreshments, and four exclusive balconies. For all guests, three on-site restaurants offer food during the day, and drinks and treats are offered also at the Lobby Bar and Pool Bar. The pool is one of the most remarkable features of the property, meandering free-form under bridges and walkways. Thrilling for aspiring scuba divers is the on-site PADI certified instruction pool (the only one in Latin America), 5m (18 ft.) deep and designed with synthetic coral, which actually helps in studying buoyancy. A complete on-site training program may help you turn into a PADI-certified diver within your stay. Obviously, if you would rather just sit back and relax within your stay, JW’s award-winning, 3,252 square meters (35,000 square feet.) spa has signature Maya inspired treatments to essentially soak in the local culture, Marriott style.
